Description
We are looking for Senior-level or Principal Chemists orMaterial Scientists with a demonstrated track record to lead development efforts to support our growth. In these key roles, as part of our research and development team, you will create value to our customers by enabling and enhancing their integrated circuits and components. You will design synthesis processes and execute laboratory experiments either independently or by providing guidance to other team members. We value strong analytical capabilities in new product development and experience in designed experiments. Depending on your background and seniority, project management can be a part of your duties, and you will be responsible for overall progress of the project. Your work includes reporting to management and customers. To succeed in this role, you should be a dynamic individual with a solid technical background.
Your task will include:
- Execute and manage research and development projects for lithography materials
- Design, plan and synthesize new materials for use as photoresist and/or lithography underlayer materials in fabrication steps for semiconductors
- Develop efficient production routes and scale-up methods for materials to be commercialized
- Use statistical data analysis and designed experiments in new material development and testing
- Compile development results into comprehensible summaries
- Report and communicate research findings internally as well as to partners and customers globally
- Guide other technical staff to complete tasks and mentor their development
Desired skills and abilities:
- A strong, dynamic, and positive work ethic
- Effective communication and good interpersonal skills
- M.S. level education or more than a 5-year experience in synthesis
- Demonstrated skill in organic or polymer chemistry. Experience in organosilicon chemistry or photocatalytic reactions are seen as benefits
- Solid skill set, including practical hands-on experience, in organic chemistry synthesis, purification and characterization methods
- Good team spirit and a solid team player
