Description

We are looking for a Summer Trainee to our Process department to support our research and development activities. In this position you will be working in a cleanroom environment conducting experiments, collecting data, performing analyses on the experiments and communicating the results to support our product development. To succeed in this role, you should be a dynamic individual with a basic technical background.

Your tasks will include:

• Processing, measuring and collecting data of polymer films using techniques common in the semiconductor industry. These include but are not limited to spin-coating, annealing, ellipsometry and microscopy. Documenting procedures and communicating results to process engineers.

• Prompt and accurate documentation of samples, test methods, and results to support process engineers and other customer-facing groups.

• Cooperation in cross-functional teams including chemists, technicians, development engineers and suppliers.

• Equipment responsibilities including maintenance and calibration.

Desired skills and abilities:

• Bachelor or M.Tech student or other Technical education level.

• Attention to detail with good observation skills and consistent way of working.

• Proactive and positive working attitude.

• Previous experience of working with silicon wafers and in cleanroom is a benefit.

• Ability to communicate well in cross-functional teams in English.

• Familiar with quality systems and procedures is a benefit.
