In practice, our technology development can be divided into two categories:

• Our chemistry teams develop novel materials and chemistries as well as conversion of the discoveries to highly repeatable manufacturing processes
• Our process teams develop and optimize processes to utilize our materials in single or multiple steps in the fabrication process flow of an electronic device

The research and development of new materials require synthesis of novel precursors and materials for our silicon, organic and metal oxide-based solutions for the industry. This also involves characterization and testing of the new materials in close collaboration between the chemistry and process teams.

Similarly, the scope of the work our process team carry out include development of individual instructions for the use of our materials in a specific process as well as development of multiple process steps to complete a specific segment in the manufacturing flow of an electronic device.
