SUMMER TRAINEE / CHEMIST

As a summer trainee you will be a part of the R&D team that develops innovating materials which enable the future semiconductor devices. These devices may be used for example in processors or memories in phones and computers, or in automotive cameras and displays. At Pibond you will have the possibility to apply your knowledge, perform laboratory work, collect data and report your findings.

In R&D the trainee is able to participate in the development of state-of-the-art materials for the rapidly evolving semiconductor industry. To succeed in this role, trainee should be motivated to learn, value safe and responsible working methods and have a genuine interest in research and development within organic or polymer chemistry. The job tasks will include synthesis and purification of compounds and polymers, analysis of the experiments and summarizing the findings in reports.

Desired experience and abilities:

· A strong, dynamic and positive work ethic, effective communication and interpersonal skills.

· University studies in chemistry or material science (at least 3^rd year student)

· Experience in working with chemicals.

· Accurate and meticulous way of working

· Ability to communicate efficiently in English.

· Good team spirit and a solid team player.
