Description

We are looking for a Senior Chemist with strong expertise in siloxane polymer synthesis and formulation experience to support our growth. In this key role, as part of our research and development team, you will create value to our customers by enabling and enhancing their integrated circuits and components. You will design synthesis processes and conduct laboratory experiments and analyses to develop new products. Your work includes reporting to program leader and customers. To succeed in this role, you should be a dynamic individual with a solid technical background.

Your task will include:

• Execute and manage research and development projects.
• Design and execute experiments for the synthesis of siloxane polymers
• Develop and optimize formulations for the targeted application
• Characterize materials using analytical techniques such as NMR, GPC, GC, FTIR, TGA, and other relevant methods.
• Analyze experimental data using statistical tools such as Minitab or equivalent software to identify trends and optimize formulations
• Collaborate closely with the process engineers to transfer the lab scale results into scalable production processes.
• Report and communicate the results internally as well as to partners and customers globally.
• Support troubleshooting and continues improvement in the scale up process.

Desired skills and abilities:

• PhD or MSC in Polymer chemistry, material science, or related fields
• Minimum 4 years of experience in a similar role in polymer synthesis, purification, and analysis.
• Strong understanding of polymer synthesis routes
• Proven experience in purification techniques
• Proficiency in polymer characterization and film analysis
• Proficiency in data analysis and experimental design, ideally using Minitab, or similar tool.
• Excellent problem solving, documentation, and communication skill.
• Ability to work in a collaborative R&D environment and manage multiple projects.
• Good team spirit and a solid team player.

Preferred experience:

• Background in microelectronics, coatings, or advanced materials development
• Familiarity with surface modification, adhesion control, or lithography-related materials
